Users love the feature, so much so that over half of all content consumed on the Degreed platform comes from Pathways. Because the internet can get pretty confusing \u2014 especially when it comes to finding the best <a href=\"https:\/\/degreed.com\/experience\/blog\/your-roadmap-to-the-world-of-modern-learning\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"learning content (opens in a new tab)\">learning content<\/a> \u2014 we built Pathways to curate content of any kind, from any source, and deliver it in a digestible format. This gives organizations the power to create structured, guided learning experiences around the skills their people need most. <br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As an agile organization, we make regular design updates to our product. Prioritizing where we focus comes from your feedback, learning from our own data, and more recently, bringing in the best of <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/degreed.com\/experience\/blog\/degreed-acquires-pathgather\/\" target=\"_blank\">Pathgather<\/a>. That\u2019s why we\u2019re so excited to announce a new and improved Pathway experience for you and your workers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/explore.degreed.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/degreed-pathway-old-vs-new-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"old vs new pathway degreed\" class=\"wp-image-29501\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why You\u2019ll Like the Pathway Redesign<br><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Based on usage metrics and anecdotal client feedback, learners and admins alike tell us Pathways have significant value in the <a href=\"https:\/\/degreed.com\/experience\/blog\/5-important-capabilities-learning-ecosystem\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"learning ecosystem (opens in a new tab)\">learning ecosystem<\/a>. Workers get a streamlined learning experience to build up a skill that matters to them, while admins can finally curate resources <em>and<\/em> get the data they need to be smarter. Now that\u2019s a win-win. <br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, our data shows user-curated content is on the rise. The geeks from our Data Science team tell us this is happening on Degreed too. The number of Pathways created weekly is exploding, so much so that a record-breaking 1,500 new Pathways were created just <em>last week<\/em>. We get it, it\u2019s important to be able to share knowledge and skills as quickly and simply as possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/explore.degreed.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/1500-new-pathways-1024x614.jpg\" alt=\"1500 new pathways\" class=\"wp-image-29502\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">So Here\u2019s What We\u2019re Doing About it: <br><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>A Fresh Look and Feel<\/strong> <br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You\u2019ll now see a cleaner Pathway design that\u2019s both easier to navigate and aligned to other changes we\u2019ve made across the platform. <br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>New, clearly-named tabs \u2014 similar to the current design for Groups \u2014 show the Pathway, Discussions, Enrollees, and Insights. We\u2019ve also included new Pathway progress indicators and estimated completion times to show people where they\u2019re at and what they\u2019ve accomplished in each section and lesson. All in all, everything you need is just a click away. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/explore.degreed.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/new-degreed-pathway-1024x684.jpg\" alt=\"new degreed pathway\" class=\"wp-image-29489\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>New Curation Superpowers<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the main requirements of being an L&D professional is being a master curator. We want to make it as easy as possible for you to do your job. Hence why we\u2019re investing in richer curation capabilities across the platform. <br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the redesigned Pathways, we\u2019ve made it easier for authors to curate and manage learning. We\u2019ve added rich text editing and the ability to add images to lessons and sections. Authors can now quickly switch back and forth between editing and viewing Pathways, making building lessons and sections simpler than ever before.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can also add helpful author notes to tell learners why a piece of content is particularly useful for them to check out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/explore.degreed.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/new-pathway-card-design-1024x583.jpg\" alt=\"new pathway card design\" class=\"wp-image-29490\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Pathway Insights <\/strong><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We both know that having eyes on what\u2019s happening within your Pathway is a top priority \u2014 especially once it\u2019s in the hands of learners.
