Their discussion homes in on three things impacting the learning systems market today: The economic climate, artificial intelligence, and skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Part 1: The State of Learning Systems in 2025\" width=\"800\" height=\"450\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube-nocookie.com\/embed\/TKUvcbAhcTQ?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">From Urgency to Accountability<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Some learning teams bought a solution during the Covid pandemic out of short-term urgency, and perhaps didn\u2019t fully understand the job they were acquiring it to do. &#8220;Do you think there&#8217;s more maturity now&#8230; in terms of that thoughtfulness?&#8221; Max asks Leteney.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Leteney&#8217;s answer reveals a split landscape:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>At Smaller Organizations<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Many purchases were made quickly, with minimal due diligence. &#8220;You only really get to know a system when you are using it,&#8221; she says, highlighting that many teams are now realizing limitations and reassessing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>At Larger Enterprises<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The challenge is different. Many already had systems in place, but are now questioning if those systems are truly being used to full advantage\u2014especially in new contexts like global programmatic delivery. For them, upcoming renewal decisions are about maximizing ROI and ensuring tech stacks support evolving business needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As renewal discussions surface, CFOs and CIOs are asking hard questions about value.
